As our Senior Health Safety and Wellbeing Advisor, you'll take the lead in developing and implementing WHS management systems, ensuring a thriving and safe environment for Parliamentary Precinct and 97 Electorate Offices.

You'll work closely with Members of the Legislative Assembly, electorate office staff, and Parliamentary Service teams to provide expert guidance, risk assessment, and proactive solutions that truly make a difference.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert WHS guidance and operational advice.
- Lead risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify and address workplace safety challenges.
- Conduct workplace incident investigations, applying risk management principles to recommend practical solutions.
- Develop and implement workplace wellness programs, ensuring employees feel supported and engaged.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports with key safety insights for executive stakeholders.
- Maintain compliance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act 2011 and relevant policies.
- Assist with rehabilitation and return-to-work programs, fostering workplace health resilience.
Your key strengths
Your skills and experience include:
- 5+ years in WHS leadership roles, ideally in facility management, construction, or service industries.
- Accreditation as a Workplace Health and Safety Advisor (essential).
- Strong knowledge of WHS regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of influencing and driving change.
- Ability to conduct effective training sessions for key stakeholders.
