About the role

Temporary opportunity to provide for the needs of patients within the public outpatients' system referred for the investigation and management of Gastroenterology (GE) and Hepatology medical conditions that cannot currently be met by Primary Care.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Participate in GE / Hepatology outpatient clinics for the treatment and management of non-urgent GE/Hepatology health conditions.
• Assess patient frailty scores, co-morbidities, and patient preference to determine if progression to a GI endoscopic procedure/s would add value to their care and clinical outcomes.
• Treat both new and review GE/Hepatology patients
