Principal Information Management Officer

As a Principal Information Management Officer, you’ll champion effective information and records management across QPT. You’ll manage eDRMS operations, provide expert advice, develop standards and tools, and deliver training that builds information capability across the organisation. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders, support system upgrades and lead a small team to ensure QPT’s information assets are governed, accessible and secure.

- A solid grounding in information governance and content management systems.
What you'll do
In this role, you will:
- Provide IM advice on governance, records, data and digital workflows.
- Manage eDRMS operations, resolving issues and coordinating with vendors.
- Lead Content Manager upgrades, including planning, testing and rollout support.
- Develop IM standards and procedures to strengthen consistency and compliance.
- Deliver IM training through clear virtual and in‑person sessions.
- Demonstrate system features to support shifts from manual to digital processes.
- Build productive stakeholder relationships to encourage IM adoption.
- Supervise the IM team, providing guidance and direction.
- Apply governance requirements across all IM activities.
- Identify improvements that enhance IM capability and system performance.
- Align IM activities with ICT strategy and organisational priorities.
