QAGOMA is seeking an Associate Registrar, Collection Storage (GOMA). This position is part of the Gallery's Registration team that manages the legal and physical risk to works of art in the Gallery's Collection and for works in the temporary custody of the Gallery.
The section develops, implements and monitors collection management programs and practices to ensure the Gallery meets the legal and procedural aspects governing the acquisition and movement of cultural objects.
Specifically, this role coordinates and implements high standard museum collection management practices for the Gallery's permanent Collection of over 21,000 works of art. The position reports to the Senior Registrar, Collection Management.
