Assistant Registrar, Loans & Acquisitions

The Assistant Registrar, Loans and Acquisitions is part of the Gallery's Registration department, which includes the specialist areas of exhibition and collection registration.
The purpose of this role is to assist in registration activities to coordinate and implement high standard museum collection management practices for the Gallery's collection loan and acquisition programs.
The Assistant Registrar - Loans & Acquisitions provides support for collection loan and acquisitions logistics including program scheduling, movement and freight arrangements, loan documentation, packing and crating, art handling, insurance, and detailed record keeping on the collection management system, MuseumPlus.
