Key outcomes/Accountabilities  

The aim of this role is to:

  • In consultation with relevant stakeholders, develop, implement, monitor and communicate change and culture activities, including monitoring and tracking of change execution.
  • Undertake analysis of change requirements and in collaboration with the Director Human Resources and Project Manager/s develop appropriate change management solutions and products to support the delivery of project objectives.
  • Prepare a range of operational documentation including plans, briefing papers and submissions.
  • Assist the realisation of business and project benefits by establishing baseline measures and metrics able to be monitored throughout the project lifecycle and post implementation.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with and between key stakeholders to ensure all internal and external stakeholders are kept informed of the status and progress of change impacting the business where appropriate
  • Encourage leadership and sponsorship through the use of effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of change within QBCC.
  • Support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans and provide change advice for the duration of projects.

 

Candidate attributes

  1. Proven ability to successfully coordinate and implement change activities using a collaborative, transparent, contemporary approach.
  2. Excellent stakeholder engagement, interpersonal, and communications skills (both written and verbal), including the ability to communicate, persuade and elicit cooperation at all levels (project staff, technical staff and management).
  3. Effectively manage competing issues and priorities through influence and negotiation.
  4. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  5. Possess well developed time management skills including demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and a diverse range of activities, with conflicting priorities and meet deadlines.
  6. Motivates and encourages individuals and creates a culture where people want to ‘get involved'.
