The Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) is seeking a Director to lead the Corporate Services Branch. The Corporate Services Branch is responsible for providing a broad range of strategic and operational support services to the Authority across financial management, human resources, procurement, records management and facilities.

What you will do
In the Director role, you will:

• Provide strategic and expert advice to the Executive Director, Strategy, Planning and Corporate Support on financial management, procurement and human resources matters impacting the Authority by working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead and coordinate the development of the Authority's annual budget and funding submission processes, including engagement with the Department of Education and Queensland Treasury.
• Lead and manage positive business relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including the Corporate Administration Agency, Queensland Audit Office, Department of Education and other external service providers.
• Direct the year‐end financial processes, including the preparation of the QCAA Service Delivery Statement, Estimate Committee Briefings and general-purpose financial statements.
• Provide direction to the Authority's procurement function across all business operations, particularly logistical services for internal and external assessment and facilities and assets management.
• Provide value add financial analysis and advisory services to all areas of the Agency, including business/procurement advice and financial capability development.
• Lead the strategic direction, planning, decision making and overall performance of the Corporate Services Branch to ensure corporate services align to business needs and organisational objectives.
• Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of corporate policies, procedures and systems to ensure compliance with all legislative, administrative and professional requirements.
• Oversee the partnering with QCAA's senior management to identify targeted HR strategies and programs aligned to current and future business needs.

Mandatory requirements
• Tertiary qualifications in accounting, business, commerce or related discipline
• Membership of CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand
• Criminal history screening
