The Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) is seeking a Certification Officer to join the Certification Unit. The Certification Officer supports schools and other stakeholders to manage all processes associated with registrations, enrolments and results recorded in the Student Management application as well as applications and processes related to the previous QCE system and equivalency.

What you will do
In the Certification Officer role, you will:
- Provide excellent customer service by responding queries and applications from schools and other stakeholders, providing verbal and written information about recording senior school students' enrolment and results data including the use of the Student Management application.
- Assist with online Webinars to support training schools to report student data used for certification.
- Work directly with both school and non-school Registered Training Organisations to provide support when recording student Vocation Education and Training (VET) qualification data.
- Complete tasks as assigned to maintain Certification unit policies, procedures, and operational guidelines to ensure accuracy of data, and timely issue of Senior Education Profiles for students.
- Work collaboratively to assist with developing operational guidelines, training materials and resources for areas of responsibility, assisting other team members as required.
- Exhibit organisational and planning skills including prioritisation and time management skills to achieve outcomes and work within tight timeframes with a commitment to quality and customer service.
- Maintain integrity of data and personal information when using multiple applications within the QCAA Portal such as Student Management, Student Administration, Access Management, Contact Management and VET application.
- Assist with testing new functionality of QCAA Portal applications to support the continued development of the Student Management application

This role reports to the Manager, Certification Unit. No roles report directly to this role.
