Operational Readiness Manager


Cross River Rail is South-East Queensland's largest infrastructure project which includes a new 10.2-kilometre rail line running from Salisbury Station to Exhibition Station, incorporating a 5.9-kilometre tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD. It is a critical public transport infrastructure project which will deliver four new underground stations at Boggo Road, Woolloongabba, Albert Street and Roma Street, comprehensive Station upgrades from Salisbury to Dutton Park and the upgrade of Exhibition Station to a full-time station, helping Brisbane to evolve as a world-class city. Cross River Rail will improve our quality of life, help our economy to keep growing, generate thousands of jobs and activate urban development within South-East Queensland.

About the Role

Our Operational Readiness Manager leads our Operational Readiness Program for Cross River Rail. With a focus on external stakeholder engagement, our Operational Readiness Manager will have a deep understanding of the requirements of our partner departments and / or organisations (Department of Transport and Main Roads, Translink, Queensland Rail) and operational readiness requirements across project areas, such as Tunnels, Stations & Development (TSD), Rail Integration Systems (RIS) and European Train Control Systems (ETCS) to achieve deliverables. About the Applicant

You will have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with various interdisciplinary stakeholders to foster a common goal where one does not always exist. You'll be an adept negotiator, with a natural lean to collaborative work practices. It is critical that you have extensive experience in public transport infrastructure delivery.
