As Marketing Manager, Campaigns, you will lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of integrated marketing campaigns for Queensland Museum Kurilpa's exhibitions, events and brand initiatives across digital and traditional channels. You will develop creative, audience-focused strategies that increase visitation, strengthen engagement and support revenue and attendance targets.
You will manage and support a high-performing team, fostering collaboration, accountability and quality outcomes. The role also works closely with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, partners and cultural organisations, to extend campaign reach and impact.
A key part of the role is using audience insights to inform strategy. You will gather, analyse and interpret data to improve targeting, shape campaign decisions, measure performance and contribute to audience research and reporting approaches.
You will also oversee the relationship with QTIX, ensuring ticketing strategies align with campaign activity. The role is responsible for ensuring marketing activities comply with Queensland Museum policies, procedures and relevant legislation, while contributing to a positive safety culture through adherence to WHS requirements.
What we're looking for
- We're seeking a capable marketing leader with:
- Proven experience delivering complex campaigns from strategy through to evaluation
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Advanced knowledge of digital and traditional marketing channels, including social media, advertising and content
- Strong analytical capability, with experience using audience data and insights to improve campaign performance
- Experience with ticketing systems and partnerships highly regarded
- You will bring strategic thinking, innovation and a clear focus on results, while building strong relationships and leading with professionalism, accountability and optimism in a dynamic environment.
Highly regarded
While there are no mandatory qualifications, a bachelor degree in communication, media, business, marketing or a related field, along with 5+ years' relevant experience, will be highly regarded. Experience in the GLAM and/or arts sector, community engagement, stakeholder relationship management, and working in a busy, fast-paced environment will also be highly valued.
