The Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Reform Team leads implementation of Achieving balance: The Queensland AOD Plan 2022-2027. The Senior Policy Officer will support delivery of Achieving balance and contribute to the broader AOD program.

The role involves hands-on project delivery, contract management, evaluation support and preparation of high-quality briefings and reports to progress priority initiatives.
You will bring experience in policy and project delivery, including providing advice to support complex initiatives.
You will manage competing priorities, deliver work to agreed milestones, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
You will have an understanding of AOD-related harm and prevention, experience contributing to strategic public health or social policy responses, supported by strong project management, consultation and written communication skills.
