About the role
- Temporary part time opportunity to demonstrate accountability at an advanced practice level for managing and coordinating ongoing care for people who frequently attend the Emergency and Trauma Centre (ETC), Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and for the provision of specialist nursing advice, consultation, leadership and education to inter-professional team members as relevant to the specific context of the role.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge, and the ability to apply relevant legislation, guidelines and standards.
- Provide leadership and direction within the Emergency and Trauma Centre which facilitates a consistently high level of nursing care.
- Apply advanced nursing knowledge relevant to area of professional and clinical practice related to care of consumer/person with frequent presentations to the Emergency and Trauma Centre and other Emergency and Trauma Centre presentations.
- Participate in the delivery of clinical care to individuals and groups through a facilitative, collaborative and inter-professional approach.
