About the role

Permanent part time opportunity to provide high level evidence based, best practice clinical psychology assessment, intervention, and evaluation to facilitate optimal patient outcomes. The position will function as part of the multidisciplinary Kidney Health team of The Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) and will entail outreach work across the Metro North Kidney Health service including the Kallangur and Bribie Island Satellite Health Centres.     

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Identify and contribute to the development of evidence based clinical practice, procedures, protocols, and education materials (local and state-wide), that will optimise the delivery of psychological services and support the continuum of care.
  • Provide high level clinical advice to professional and operational leads, relevant service managers and other stakeholders, regarding the practise of psychology. And where required, participate in consultation forums, networks, and other advisory groups.
  • Monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes, and actively participate in initiating, developing, and implementing quality and program improvement activities that enhance the delivery of psychology services.
  • Provide high level clinical advice to diverse stakeholders including professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers, medical and allied health regarding service delivery, equipment, technology and the prioritisation and development of social work clinical services.
