About the role

The purpose of this role is to assist with the implementation and delivery of research study goals, study coordination, data collection, analysis, and management.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Under the direction and guidance of the Chief Investigators, and in conjunction with physiotherapy or occupational therapy teams, facilitate the delivery of therapy sessions using low-risk technology (eg. sensor-based systems, EMG biofeedback, Virtual reality), in accordance with the study schedule.
  • Prototype rehabilitation and assistive technology solutions, based on identified user needs, and under the guidance of the Chief Investigators and in collaboration with other disciplines.
  • Contribute to the development of procedures, protocols, and educational materials to improve the delivery of technology-enabled rehabilitation services and support the continuum of care.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory of study equipment and databases.
  • Contribute to operational/management activities such as transcribing study forms or collection/consolidation of data from multiple sources.
  • Ensure timely follow-up of participants.
