The Rockhampton Hospital – Emergency Department (ED) welcomes applications from Principal House Officers and Registrars to join their dynamic team.
Assist Staff Specialists and Senior Medical Staff in the management of medical patients presenting with acute and urgent illness and injury.
Rockhampton Hospital is the main referral hub for Central Queensland (CQ) and as such manages a wide range of complex, multi-speciality cases. Large cattle trauma is specific to our region. We are a mixed ED, with Paediatrics contributing to 25-30% of presentations. We are a busy department with a 25-30% admission rate.

Salary Information (L4 - L9):
Total remuneration value of up to $153,871 p.a. is comprised of:
- A salary between $116,316 - $134,861 p.a.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
