Working closely with the Safety and Health Fee Manager and the Senior Fee Officer, this role will be required to support the Safety and Health Fee Unit with administration of two Fee Structures ensuring accurate data collection, issue invoices, debt collection and management of the revenue. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic small team administering the two fee structures that collect revenue to fund services provided by RSHQ to the Mining and Quarrying, Explosives and Petroleum and Gas Industries.

Experience in the use of a range of databases and financial systems (such as Lotus Notes, T1 Financials and Microsoft Excel) would be highly regarded.
The successful candidate should demonstrate:
- Ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation and assist industry with understanding their legislative obligations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Have experience in financial processes in particular debt management
- Ability to read and apply work instructions
Key Accountabilities
- Assist the Senior Fee Officer and the Fee Manager with the administration of the M&E Fee and P&G Fee including issuing invoices, debt collection, preparation of correspondence, and database management.
- Be the first point of contact for external enquiries, providing timely advice regarding completion of census and return forms within RSHQ policy and legislative guidelines.
- Assist with the management of electronic RSHQ correspondence in accordance with appropriate record keeping and archival procedures via MELD, PAGFeeD and eDOCS.
- Maintain effective communication with staff of RSHQ and with external parties, dealing with sensitive or confidential information in an appropriate manner.
- Manage client information, including creation and maintenance of new clients in the two Fee databases and the finance system.
- Assist the Senior Fee Officer with the data collection for the two Fee structures including reviewing source data.
- Prepare responses to industry and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with routine investigation and research activities as required regarding liability of clients against relevant legislation including liaising with industry and relevant Inspectorates.
