We are seeking an experienced Team Leader Operational Quality and Training to join the Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA). This role is required to support the development, implementation and evaluation of various training and quality monitoring initiatives and projects designed to enhance the RTA's customer experience.

This position is a permanent, full-time role and is located in the Brisbane CBD with generous flexible working arrangements.

The Team Leader Operational Quality and Training is a key appointment within the Capability and Improvement Team, whose work is critical to the success of the RTA's Customer Experience division. In this role, you will lead a team of learning and development specialists to deliver on strategic objectives and organisational goals across several key areas, including:

  • the design and delivery of technical training to frontline team members
  • implementation of quality monitoring programs
  • facilitating strategic project training to drive improvements in systems, processes and overall business performance
  • continuous improvement of knowledge management solutions, and
  • leading the delivery of programs designed to up-skill a customer-focused workforce.

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop a high-performing team to achieve organisational objectives
  • Experience working collaboratively in a high performing team and successfully leading a small team
  • Proven capability to lead change in complex environments and communicate effectively to empower others
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, delivering and evaluating training programs using adult learning principles
  • Ability to lead and develop quality monitoring programs, analyse trends and implement process improvements
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence outcomes with internal and external stakeholders
  • Qualifications in adult learning fields such as Instructional Design or a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent), or recent experience in the development and evaluation of training packages is essential.
