Leading in a complex and dynamic environment, you will be responsible for delivering the RTA's strategic and operational objectives, positioning the organisation as a trusted, progressive and highly professional statutory body. You will have a strong focus on leading the organisation to ensure the RTA remains agile and effective.
Success in this role requires a leader who builds enduring relationships, demonstrating the ability to navigate matters with diplomacy and insight. You will engage closely with key stakeholders, including the RTA Board, government, industry representatives and the broader community, ensuring transparency, collaboration and trust.
Accountability and outcomes are central to the role, and you will be expected to maintain a sharp focus on emerging issues, leveraging feedback mechanisms to anticipate challenges and adjust strategic priorities accordingly. Effective governance and financial stewardship are critical, ensuring the RTA delivers value-for-money services and adheres to best practice procurement processes in managing public resources.
