We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality & Training Officer to join the Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA). This role is required to provide coaching to Quality & Training team members supporting their ongoing development, to deliver business aligned outcomes to increase capability through instructional design and training delivery, quality monitoring, knowledge management and project implementation.

This position is a permanent, full-time role and is located in the Brisbane CBD with generous flexible working arrangements.

As a Senior Quality & Training Officer, you will work closely with leaders and stakeholders across the organisation to identify capability needs and deliver effective learning and development solutions. You will create and facilitate training programs, monitor quality standards, analyse performance trends and support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance employee capability and service delivery.

You will also provide coaching and guidance to team members, contribute to knowledge management practices, and play a key role in implementing projects that align with organisational goals and drive positive business outcomes.

 To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in designing, delivering and evaluating training programs using adult learning principles and contemporary learning methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance practices and continuous improvement frameworks, with the ability to apply these to drive business outcomes
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor and develop the capability of individuals and teams
  • Well-developed stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships across all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions and provide actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage change initiatives and deliver strategic outcomes in a complex environment.

Highly desirable:

  • Experience using Articulate 360, Vyond and Snagit to develop engaging learning solutions.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE).
