An exciting opportunity exists for a Coordinator Clinical Information Access (CIA) who will be responsible for management, coordination and processing of requests to access and release clinical information in accordance with relevant legislation and Queensland Health policies across the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) including Community Health.

The Coordinator Clinical Information Access will provide expert advice and education for clinical and non-clinical staff in relation to the confidentiality provisions and their obligations under the Hospital and Health Boards Act 2011 and identify emerging issues in relation to privacy, confidentiality and the release of clinical information.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Act as a decision-maker for Right to Information and Information Privacy Act (RTI/IP) applications, for all facilities of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service including Community Health;
- Prepare documentation and ensure all applications for access under RTI/IP, Administrative Access, Motor Accident Insurance Act, the Personal Injuries Proceedings Act and other statutory mechanisms are correctly interpreted and managed in accordance with the relevant legislation and Queensland Health policies;
- Prepare documentation and ensure that all Subpoenas, Summons and other requests pursuant to Court Orders are managed according to relevant legislation and Court Rules and that all requests for information are processed correctly under the Hospital and Health Boards Act 2011.
Remuneration value up to $10,921 p.m., comprising salary between $4,046.40 - $4,402.60 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO5) (Fixed Term Temporary Full time, 76 hrs p.f. until 10/03/2026).
