Glenbrook Residential Aged Care - Nambour
An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Nurse (Shift Coordinator) to join the team at Glenbrook Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) in Nambour. In this role, you will work in partnership with the Director of Nursing/Facility Manager, Clinical Nurse Coordinator and Clinical Nurse Coach to deliver, coordinate, and support high-quality clinical care across a dynamic care environment. Glenbrook is a standalone 44-bed facility providing care across five models, including general aged care, BPSD, transition and interim care, and VAD. You will lead and support nursing practice in line with professional standards and quality frameworks, while actively contributing to a safe, inclusive and person-centred care environment.

Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being understand to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) – State 2015 – Generic Level Statements Nurse Grade 7 and the Queensland Public Service values.
- Understand your broad responsibilities for safety and quality in healthcare, actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non-clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.
- Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
Remuneration value up to $131 900 p.a., comprising salary between $107 960 - $115 604 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (NRG 6 (1)). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
