An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Nurse – ENT to join the Surgical Services Outpatients Team at Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH). In this role, you will lead and deliver person-centred care at an advanced level, manage referral intake and waiting lists, and support clinical innovation aligned with the Specialist Outpatient Services Implementation Standard (SOSIS). Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, the CN will oversee ENT outpatient activities and contribute to high-quality, coordinated, and evidence-based care. Key Responsibilities include:
- Oversee and manage the Ear, Nose and Throat Outpatient waitlist inclusive of ENT referrals, clinic scheduling, clinic templating, clinic booking requests, failed to attend and confirm.
- Ensure SOSIS + CPC guidelines are adhered too.
- Provides exceptional leadership, guidance, and education to base grade nursing staff within clinic specific to ENT Surgery.
- Utilise specialty knowledge of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery to provide patient specialty cohort with advice encompassing wound education, care planning along with post operative care.
Remuneration value up to $131 900 p.a., comprising salary between $107 960 - $115 604 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6(1) (temporary position available for 12 months).
