An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Measurement Scientist-Casual to deliver cardiac clinical measurement services (cardiac investigations) as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team. As a Clinical Measurement Scientist (cardiac physiologist), you will be required to deliver diagnostic cardiac investigations for the Cardiac Investigations Unit/Cardiology Department at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, and across the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Demonstrate competent knowledge, expertise and skill in the provision of cardiac investigation services in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, existing evidence-based practice and established clinical protocols.
- Perform routine investigations including:
- Electrocardiography
- Holter, event and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring and reporting
- Stress testing (exercise and pharmacological)
- Have the ability to learn or perform cardiac investigations that require an increasing level of skill including:
- Cardiac catheterisation
- Echocardiography
- Implantable cardiac devices
- Electrophysiology
Salary rates: $49.83 - $73.24 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) (HP3) (casual positions available) Applications will remain current for 12 months.
