Your Opportunity
As the Coach, you will have a passion for leading an evidence-informed approach to reading which includes systematic synthetic phonics and word study to strengthen students' word reading skills.
You will have responsibility for leading the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks:
- Lead and coordinate the coaching and mentoring of staff members, developing collegiality, building a learning and development culture, modelling innovative reading teaching styles and encouraging appropriate professional development
- Lead the implementation and review of high impact teaching and learning strategies in Reading Across the Curriculum, Engagement Norms and Explicit Teaching approaches
- Assume a lead role within the school leadership team with the development and implementation of strategies relating to the school's AIP, LOA and Literacy diagnostic targets

- How do/would you coach teachers to develop and consistently apply explicit instructional routines in lessons so that students clearly understand learning intentions, success criteria and expectations?
