About the Role:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

  • Lead with a shared educational vision that promotes high-quality learning outcomes, student success and continuous improvement across the school department.
  • Promote equity, inclusion and high expectations by embedding socially just practices and setting high standards for both student achievement and staff performance.
  • Foster professional growth and lifelong learning by encouraging ongoing professional development, collaboration, reflection and innovation.
  • Build strong partnerships and community connections with students, parents, government agencies and community groups to strengthen educational outcomes and support student wellbeing.
  • Provide strategic and effective leadership by understanding relevant legislation and policies and managing human, financial, facilities and curriculum resources to achieve departmental goals.
