Your opportunity:
- As a collaborative leader experienced in quality assessment design, you will lead the development and delivery of science curriculum and excellence programs that are rigorous and engaging; raise the quality of teaching, enhance student outcomes across the School, and lead students' high achievement.
- Experience teaching Chemistry or Physics would be advantageous, but not essential.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the department's educational vision and student outcomes.
- Promote inclusive and socially just practices.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Support professional learning and continuous improvement.
- Build strong partnerships with students, families and the community.
- Provide strategic, future-focused leadership.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
- Manage people, finances, facilities and curriculum resources effectively.
