Lead, Collection Engagement

Lead, Collection Engagement is responsible for a team growing engagement around State Library’s collections, with a particular focus on the John Oxley Library collection. The role is responsible for sharing Queensland stories and making State Librarys collections relevant to a wide audience. The teams collection expertise and specialist knowledge is integral to ensuring a deeper understanding of the highly significant John Oxley Library Collection. The team connects with a variety of communities and audiences, sharing their collection expertise and encouraging multiple expressions of the Queensland experience. Leading SLQs Fellowship program, the Collection Engagement team supports researchers and fosters a deeper understanding of Queensland history. It also engages with the GLAM and heritage sector to ensure access to Queensland documentary heritage.
