We are seeking an experienced librarian or library technician to coordinate the description and arrangement of materials new to State Library of Queensland's collections in line with our Content Description Principles
The way libraries describe their collections is fundamental to how content is discovered, accessed, used and preserved, now and into the future.
The role requires a high proficiency with digital content and technical systems and a comprehensive understanding of metadata standards, practices, and tools for cataloguing. Attention to detail, troubleshooting and critical thinking are essential to working with collections.
