Program Assistant (Identified: Australian First Nations)

Looking for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander creatives to join our engaging team of Program Assistants and connect with children and families at State Library of Queensland.

Based in our dedicated space for children right in the heart of Brisbane's cultural precinct, this role is about connecting through stories, songs and play.

Key duties include interacting with diverse families from a wide range of backgrounds, creating engaging experiences for children 0-8 years old, providing information, set up/ pack down and collaboration with colleagues, artists and educators.

The role suits people with interest or experience in education, community engagement or creative arts.

Love of babies and children under 5 essential! Part time or casual, 1-3 days per week, shift time 9am-2.30pm.

Part time or casual options, 1-3 days per week, shift time 9am-2.30pm.  Both weekday and weekend options, weekend work paid overtime. Part time role involves 2-3 set days per week (10-15 hours). Casual roles rostered monthly - approximately 1-2 days per week depending on your availability.
