We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse (CN) in Community Mental Health to join our team. The Clinical Nurse practices autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team to provide mental health nursing services within a rural / remote health service setting.

Your opportunity

In this role you will be responsible for the provision of high quality specialist community based child and youth mental health assessment, treatment, intervention and education to children and youth (to the age of 17) who have mental health issues that are impacting on their lives and the lives of those around them.

Working in a rural and remote setting you will provide mental health outreach services to Charleville and surrounding areas within the South West Hospital and Health Service in keeping with national and state standards and requirements. High levels of engagement with community and non-government services is an important component of the role. Familiarity and ability to develop high levels of proficiency with digital health solutions will also be required.
