Your opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team. The Registered Nurse provides exceptional client centred nursing care within the rural/remote context.

The Registered Nurse demonstrates competence in the provision of nursing care as specified by registration requirements, NMBA standards and codes, education preparations, relevant legislation and context of care.

The registered nurse practices independently and assumes accountability and responsibility for own actions and delegation of care to enrolled nurse, assistants in nursing and healthcare workers.

The very nature of what we do and who we are is the real opportunity. Providing health care in the bush is full of challenges, however, it remains the most rewarding of human experiences.

The laid back life style of this unique border town provides a true escape from the bustling city life. While Mungindi's population is relatively small, this wheat, cotton, wool, beef and sheep producing district is fast becoming renowned for its enthusiasm in bringing world class Festivals and Events to the local area, showcasing their community spirit; the same community feel that makes our Multipurpose Health Facility a career move you will wish you had made earlier.

What we can do for you

Ultimately, we provide you a platform to leapfrog your career with more opportunities to experience a wider scope of practice with less competition due to location and population.

Nowhere else will you experience the vast diversity of nursing and career advancement other than in rural and remote Queensland.

  • Temporary accommodation may be available by negotiation!
  • Make a positive difference to members of our community!
  • Scuff your toes in the red dirt and experience a rural community!
