Tell me more... The position provides an advanced level of professional, clinical, operational and strategic leadership to the Torres Social and Emotional Wellbeing Service (SEWB) in partnership with the Director Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (MH&AODS). The position provides senior leadership and mentorship for all staff working within the broader Primary Health Care Team and MH&AODS to improve health outcomes by ensuring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are engaged and consulted in the development and delivery of person centred culturally safe SEWB & MHA&ODS.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in providing high level clinical leadership and management.
  • Demonstrated expert level of knowledge and experience in assessment, treatment planning and case management of Social and Emotional Wellbeing consumers and family within remote settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilise electronic medical records/information systems (ie CIMHA). to complete and review clinical documentation and data collection.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver Health Promotion and Educational programs to promote positive SEWB focussing on self-determination, community empowerment and community participation.

-          Total Remuneration value up to $143 803 (NRG7) and $147 477 (HP5) comprising salary between $116 092 - $126 037 p.a (NRG7) and $123 877 - $129 257 p.a (HP5)
