Are you ready for a role that's as rewarding as it is remote? We're on the lookout for a true unicorn 🦄 — a skilled, adaptable, and compassionate Registered Nurse Rural Generalist to join our dedicated team in Weipa, where the red dirt meets the turquoise sea.
🏥 About the Role
As a Rural Generalist RN, you'll wear many hats — Emergency, Acute Ward or Aged Care as well as in Theatre (Anaesthetics and/or Scrub role) when lists are scheduled monthly and participate in the on-call theatre roster for the birthing service.
No two days are the same, and your contribution will be immediate and lasting.
You'll work closely with a passionate multidisciplinary team to support the health and wellbeing of the diverse and culturally rich communities of western Cape York. This is a rare opportunity to develop your scope of practice, grow your clinical leadership, and truly make a valuable contribution.

- Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration
- Broad clinical experience, including emergency and/or primary health
- Confident working in remote and culturally diverse settings
- A collaborative team player with excellent critical thinking and initiative

- Base salary comprising between $82,753.00 - $106,144.00 per annum – you may be eligible for additional benefits – refer to Workplace benefits | Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service
