About the opportunity
The Senior ICT Operations Coordinator is a key operational leadership role which provides stakeholder-focused coordination across all TIQ sites, domestic and international. The role drives operational excellence through effective demand management, ICT operational and financial insights, stewardship of the team's support queue, performance reporting, continuous improvement and delivery of technology initiatives, projects and programs. The role requires the ability to ensure business needs are translated into practical, customer-focused technology outcomes with best practice governance.
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the ITD team, ensuring work is effectively triaged, prioritised, allocated and monitored.
- Establish and manage reporting frameworks, dashboards and performance metrics to provide insights into ICT demand, service performance and resource utilisation.
- Lead business improvement initiatives by analysing processes, identifying efficiencies and driving continuous improvement and organisational change.
- Coordinate and deliver ICT projects and technology initiatives in line with best practice and Queensland Government governance and risk control frameworks.
- Coordinate and manage resolution of escalated service requests, incidents, enhancements and operational activities to support business priorities.
- Monitor and continuously improve ITD's service performance, customer satisfaction and service delivery outcomes in line with changing business needs.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, state and federal government entities, managed service providers and vendors to build effective and trusted relationships which ensure seamless and efficient ICT service delivery.
- Provide and interpret technical advice to develop recommendations on ICT systems, services and emerging technologies to support organisational objectives and innovation.

You bring excellent stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to translate data and insights into practical solutions while managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality outcomes.
