About your opportunity

This position is ideally suited for an Advanced Trainee to commence advanced training early in Nephrology for the second half of the year 2020. This position is also accredited for General Medicine Training.  The primary function of the position is to provide high quality clinical care to patients of the Townsville University Hospital.  In addition, the Medical Officer will provide supervision of junior medical staff, including some responsibility for providing teaching to junior medical staff and medical students.  Comprehensive post graduate training programme is conducted at the Townsville University Hospital.

Other Requirements

  • Degree Qualifications from a recognised tertiary institution and hold Current Registration as a medical practitioner or eligible for Current Registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Successful completion of FRACP written and clinical examination

Remuneration package of up to $12899 p.m. (+ other applicable allowances/benefits) comprising salary range of $4243.60 - $4920.10 p.f. (L4-L9), recreational leave loading (17.5%), employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%), attraction and retention incentive allowance, professional development assistance (leave and vocational training subsidy), and inaccessibility allowance (if applicable).
