What's on offer?
Remuneration package of up to $164,696 p.a., comprising base salary range of $132,562 - $143,924 p.a. (+ applicable allowances/benefits) (Nurse Grade 7), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).

About the role
In this role you will facilitate and provide nursing leadership, support, clinical supervision and mentoring within the nursing team and provide nursing resource, education and strategic management to facilitate the delivery of high quality, best practice care to the clients of the Renal Satellite Unit.
The Renal Satellite Unit is comprised of a Haemodialysis Satellite Unit, Chronic Kidney Disease Service, Pre-Transplant, and Home Therapies Unit and is located at the North Ward Health Campus (NWHC), Townsville. Also encompassed within the service are the Palm Island and Home Hill Satellite dialysis units. The Nurse Unit Manager Renal Satellite is located at the North Ward Health Campus,Townsville.
Role requirements
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory. Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
Highly desirable
Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field. Such experience may be discipline specific or have a service area focus.
