About your opportunity:

Permanent part-time, 38 hours per fortnight

BreastScreen Queensland Townsville Service is currently seeking a radiographer/mammographer who will be a highly valued member of a multidisciplinary team performing high-quality mammograms, participating in assessment clinics, and providing a high standard of care, support, and advice to clients.

BreastScreen Queensland Townsville operates from a state-of-the-art, fully equipped screening and assessment facility in Townsville and also provides a mobile screening service to 24 regional, rural and remote sites within the northern Queensland region.

What's on offer:

  • Generous remuneration package value up to $78,680 p.a. comprising:
  • Salary range of $64.64 to $69.55 p.h. (Classification)
  • Annual leave with 17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Workforce Attraction Incentive Scheme:

Eligible health workers who make the move (interstate or international) to work with us may receive up to $20,000 in incentive payments under the Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Incentive Scheme (conditions apply).

Role Requirements:

  • Proof of qualification (see Role Description), and possession of a Statement of Registration with the Australian Sonographers Accreditation Register (ASAR) if utilising ultrasound skills.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
  • Travel is a requirement of this position visiting locations within the Townsville and North West Hospital and Health Services and also Brisbane.
  • Possession of class C drivers' licence.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
