The Mental Health Service Group are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join their Consultation Liaison Psychiatry and Addictions Service, on a fixed term temporary part-time basis (30.4 hours per fortnight), until March 2025, with the possibility of extension, not exceeding 12 months.

About your opportunity:
Fixed term temporary part-time, 30.4 hours per fortnight, until March 2025 with the possibility of extension, not exceeding 12 months.
The Nurse Practitioner role acts to ensure the provision of best practice in the multidisciplinary team through application of advanced and extended scope of practice that provides high quality clinical assessment and interventions for consumers of the TUH. The Nurse Practitioner role is inclusive of, but not limited to, comprehensive assessments, recommendations for management and care planning, prescribing activities, diagnostics inclusive of investigations and direct referral. Additionally, the Nurse Practitioner provides capacity development for staff within the CLP team and more broadly across TUH workforce, facilitation of education, skills development and participation in research.
All employees of the Mental Health Service Group may be required to work in other areas of the service.

- Generous remuneration package value up to $5944 p.m. comprising:
- Salary range of $75.27 to $78.59 p.h. (Nurse Grade 8)
- Annual leave with 17.5% loading

Role Requirements:
- Proof of qualification (Master of Nursing Science (Nurse Practitioner) or equivalent), registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
- Highly Desirable: Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field is highly desirable. Such experience may be discipline specific or have a service area focus.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
- Possession of class C drivers' licence.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
