About the opportunity:
Position: Person Centred-care Coordinator
Vacancy: Permanent Full-time
Location: Patient Services / Corporate Service Group / Townsville University Hospital
The purpose of this role is to provide expert knowledge, leadership and coordination for the implementation of solutions and change processes across Townsville Hospital and Health Service and achieve excellence in person-centred care. Person-Centred Care is a strategic priority of the health service and focuses on designing a service that is responsive to consumer and community needs, in alignment with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standard – Partnering with Consumers.

- Salary range: $5081.10 to $5798.90 p.h. (Nurse Grade 7/HP5)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration:
- Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or the appropriate registration authority or association, and possession of a current practising certificate.
- Travel: Please note, from time-to-time this position will be required to travel to, and work at, other facilities located within the Rural Hospitals Service Group network to participate in meetings for planning, quality, performance, training and education, or clinical activities. This may involve day and/or overnight stays. Travel on small planes or ferry may be required
- Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
