- Salary range: Nurse Grade 6(1) $54.44 to $58.30 p.h. or HP4 $64.64 to $69.55 p.h. - successful candidate will be paid at the higher rate (Nurse Grade 6 Band 1 or HP4 Band 1)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

About your opportunity
The Oncology Clinical Trials Coordinator Clinical Nurse / Allied Health is a senior clinical based role for a registered allied health staff member / nurse to support the conduct and management of interventional clinical trials unit within the Townsville Cancer Centre. This position requires complex, problem-solving skills, complex planning, and coordination skills in the clinical management of clinical trial patients with complex care needs.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Nursing: Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory. .
- Health Practitioner: Qualification: Tertiary Qualifications in one of the following fields: Dietetics and Nutrition, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Occupational Therapist, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Radiation Therapy, Radiography, Speech Pathology or Psychology.
- Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which may include participation in an on-call roster.
- Travel: Please note, from time-to-time this position will be required to travel by aircraft to study meeting locations in Australia and/or internationally for education requirements related to clinical trials operating in the unit.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
