- Salary range: $218,109 to $227,581 p.a. (HP5)
- 5 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
The purpose of the role is to deliver a specialised medical physics clinical service and professional leadership within the Medical Physics Department and the regional cancer centre by managing one or more specialist programmes in radiation oncology medical physics.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in physics, or physical science with a major in physics, from an Australian university or a recognised overseas tertiary institution.
- Hold an MSc or PhD in radiation oncology medical physics from an Australian university or a recognised overseas tertiary institution.
- Hold certification by the Australasian College of Physical Scientists and Engineers in Medicine (ACPSEM) as a Medical Physics Specialist in Radiation Oncology.
- Have been engaged in a position requiring advanced level competency in radiation oncology medical physics, as defined by the ACPSEM, within an Australian or equivalent health care environment.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
