• Lead and co-ordinate development and delivery of construction and maintenance programs for the department across its state-wide built infrastructure portfolio, ensuring delivery of these services to agreed standards.
• Ensure programs of work are managed in accordance with the department's strategy, policies, systems, and procedures, and according to the Government's Capital Works and Maintenance Management Frameworks and other relevant whole-of-Government policy frameworks.
• Optimise alliances and partnerships with key internal / external stakeholders and service providers (e.g. DHPW / BAS), and contribute to development and implementation of innovative strategies to meet the department's facilities services requirements.
• Manage and develop a high performing, efficient and effective team.
• Identify emerging issues, risks, and priorities that may impact project and/or program delivery and proactively respond with strategies to address these impacts.
• Monitor, analyse, forecast, and report on program performance to ensure the Branch meets its performance targets and delivers its programs as planned.
• Provide high-level advice to Branch management and other departmental executives on infrastructure program planning and delivery status, expenditure forecasts, risks, and emerging issues.
• Other duties as required to fulfil the objectives of the Branch and Department.
