Job Opportunity – Ranger (Native Vegetation Restoration) – Atherton Tablelands Department of Environment, Science & Innovation (DETSI) We’re looking for a dedicated Ranger to support restoration efforts across the Atherton Tablelands within Queensland’s protected areas. This role focuses on growing, planting & maintaining native vegetation, preparing sites, managing data & working closely with community volunteers from Trees for the Evelyn & Atherton Tablelands (TREAT). The successful applicant will help care for nursery infrastructure, support ongoing upgrades, assist with planning on-ground work & may lead or supervise team members when needed. Work may occasionally extend to other parts of the Northern Region. This hands-on role involves physically demanding tasks in remote and rugged natural areas. Applicants should be adaptable, resilient & capable of working.
