    Reporting to the Executive Director, you will provide leadership and direction through all functions of the branch, including managing human resource, financial and budget, planning and program management, and reporting.     Human Resource Services is responsible for providing professional advice and support to regional and state office managers and staff across the employee lifecycle including employee entitlements, Human Resource (HR) systems, establishment management and local recruitment and selection.     Reporting to the Principal Systems Officer, you will be a key member of the team responsible for supporting operations through the use of a range of specialist analytics and decision support tools and systems to ensure capability products and systems meet the decision requirements needs across planning, preparedness, response and recovery phases of disaster management. You will be required to develop and administer workflows, systems, and procedures using a variety of modern approaches to systematic data preparation, calculation, delivery and presentation aligned to organisational strategic direction and operational capability.

  9. Workshop Supervisor (OPOT7) Fleet Delivery, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services Permanent Full-time

    Purpose of the role
    The Fleet Delivery team leads fleet operations, fleet strategy and mechanical services and provides repairs and maintenance of fit for purpose heavy, light and medium commercial fleet vehicles and associated equipment to all members of QFES. Through the full lifecycle management and best practice approach to the fleet and equipment management, we ensure all assets and equipment are managed strategically and maintained to meet the complex environment in which they are deployed and utilised, and to meet operational capability and organisational objectives.


    Reporting to the State Manager (Mechanical Services) the regional Workshop Supervisor will be responsible for programing, conducting, and management of the scheduled maintenance of QFES fire appliances, pumps, systems and associated equipment to ensure compliance with requirements of the Heavy Vehicle National Law and Regulations, the Queensland Transport Operations (Road Use Management - Road Rules) Regulations 2009 and the Transport Operations (Road Use Management) Act 1995 (the Act). You will provide supervision, direction and guidance to equipment maintenance and repair specialists to ensure the fire appliances and associated equipment meet operational capability, including monitoring and managing parts inventories and listings and ordering to meet service delivery requirements.
