    The Motor Accident Insurance Commission is responsible for the Compulsory Third Party (CTP) scheme for Queensland in accordance with the MAI Act 1994 and its role is to licence and supervise insurers underwriting this statutory class of insurance.
    The Manager CTP Scheme Monitoring will be responsible for leading and managing the activities in relation to claims compliance, claims management monitoring of the CTP insurers, fraud prosecutions, and complaints from stakeholders including potential breaches of the Motor Accident Insurance Act 1994 (MAI Act).
    As part of the MAIC Regulation team you will be responsible for the provision of technical advice to the Insurance Commissioner on claims management, legal and litigation trends, potential legislative amendments and changes to other jurisdictions providing CTP.

    This position will provide statistical services as outlined in the previous paragraph at a project manager and/or senior team member level. The role will use statistical expertise and relevant software, such as R or SAS, to process, analyse and report on surveys and other data as required.
