In the role of Senior Cultural Heritage Officer, you will provide guidance and technical expertise on cultural heritage (Indigenous and non-Indigenous) management and legislative compliance to South Coast Region Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP) projects. You will support QTRIP projects in meeting departmental and government commitments regarding cultural heritage management during all phases of projects. You will also facilitate the implementation of legislative and departmental policy/procedure relating to cultural heritage management as part of the delivery of QTRIP projects and operation of the State Controlled Road Corridor. In addition, you are required to maintain strategic alliances with internal and external clients including Traditional Owners and/or their agents.
