You will work in a collaborative team to deliver a client centric approach in engaging with client and negotiating outcomes in challenging circumstances, including resolving escalations from within the team. Working in a rostered environment, you will apply judgment and determine appropriate actions and be responsible for delivering outcomes through self-management.
The positions are based in our Brisbane, Ipswich and Southport offices and flexible work options may be requested.

Your typical day as a Debt Resolution Officer may include:
- Answering client phone calls and applying debt management processes and effective negotiation techniques to resolve enquiries, ensuring a positive client experience and management of the debt pool.
- Negotiating debt management instalment plans with debtors and Senior Leaders.
- Reviewing, applying legislation, and documenting decisions; for example, issuing a Fine Collection Notice to a debtor's financial institution or employer.
- Resolving client scenario escalations with Service Officers
- Taking appropriate action to finalise debts and payments to third party creditors.
- Using our computer systems to input, manage, retrieve, analyse information, and generate reports.
You will be supported by a positive, constructive team and divisional leaders as you do your work.
