Your opportunity:

• The Clinical Director of Orthopaedic Surgery will provide expert clinical leadership and oversight to ensure the delivery of high performing orthopaedic surgery and trauma services, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. They will ensure the provision of high value, safe, and quality clinical care to patients.

Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $549,113 p.a., comprising salary between $210,332 - $266,677 p.a., (L18-L27), clinical managers allowance ($21,028 p.a.), motor vehicle allowance ($25,500 p.a.), professional development allowance ($21,500 p.a.), professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements.  Private practice arrangements include opportunities at the local private hospitals and other government programs. Overtime and on-call allowances will be negotiated with the successful applicant upon appointment. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value. (Applications will remain current for 12 months).
