The Customer Service Officer, OO2, is a role in which you will: Provide excellent customer service to visitors, accurate and timely information about the centre attractions, events, facilities and a general information on Queensland's National Parks. Communicate effectively with staff, management, client business groups and customers. Perform general administrative support duties including the operation of computers and technology, managing incoming telephone calls, mail distribution, word processing and other office equipment and some basic procurement of goods and services. Conduct sales of admission and special event tickets, including merchandise to visitors in the information centre. Organise bookings for school excursions, tour groups and catering for events held at the centre. Provide operational support and maintenance services to ensure the centre is presented to a high standard and safe for visitors, including duties such as cleaning toilets, litter spot checks and basic cleaning and safety checks. Perform stocktakes to check inventory levels and seek approval for ordering necessary stock. 

This role also supervises volunteers by providing guidance and tasks to contribute to the operations of the centre. Actively participate in and positively contribute to a team environment. Support an accountable, fair and safe work environment through the implementation of contemporary management practices and policies, including performance management, equal employment/anti-discrimination and workplace health and safety. Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.
