About the Role
We are seeking a Head of Department in either the Middle School or Senior School, to work collaboratively with our team, across curriculum areas.
You will have responsibility for leading the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks:
- Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups
About You
The successful applicant will have:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- The ability to build the confidence and competence of teachers
- Ability to oversee curriculum implementation
- Ability to work with the executive team to deliver the priorities of teh school's strategic plan
